WD 200 Washer/Disinfector Became Focus of Attention at 69 CMEF

As Mr. Claus Martini, CEO of Belimed Group,and Mr. Liu Xuan, VP of Belimed APAC, unveiled the WD 200, pictures of beautiful fireworks appeared on the LED screen highlighted with triumphant sounds. The WD 200 stood proudly in front of the audience with its charming metallic luster. On April 17, Belimed took part in the 69th China International Medical Equipment Fair (69th CMEF) in Shenzhen. From the moment the WD 200 washer-disinfectorwas unveiled, it became the focus of attention.

The professional visitors were captured by the WD 200’s distinguishing features: the small foot-print (68 cm only), the low media consumption and the high quality of its washing chamber and components. What interested the visitors most was the WD 200’s capacity of 12 DIN trays at a time, which can’t be achieved by any other brand on the Chinese market. Many professional visitors approached the Belimed staff with further inquiries about the functions and applications of the WD 200.

In addition to the WD 200, the MST-V 6618, the WD 425, the WD 430 and the WD 290 were presented. The WD 425 caught the visitors’ eye by being able to process three endoscopes at the same time. This was the first time that Belimed had presented its endoscopy washer-disinfector in China. Although the endoscope washer market is almost saturated, headnurses and distributors showed a big interest in the WD 425, which seemed to predict a lot of future success.

At the tradeshow, Mr. Claus Martini and Mr. Liu Xuan announced to the visitors that in recent months Belimed had taken several new actions. For example, the Belimed APAC team was organized in January with its base in Shanghai, China and new products were introduced to APAC, which in China are presented through the new sales tool – the tablet. At the trade show, Belimed launched its new communication channel, an official Microblog on Sina (a Chinese microblogging website). All of these activities follow the new APAC marketing strategy.

The 69th CMEF turned out to be a grand exhibition of unprecedented size. It covered an area of 120 000 m2 with over 6 000 booths. More than 2 700 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions worldwide and 120 000 visitors attended the exhibition. 430 visitors came to Belimed booth and left their information for further contact. The exhibition lasted four days.
 
Due to the great success, we plan to participate again next year.
