SteelcoBelimed Academy Elevates Training in Infection Control, Supporting Over 1,000 Professionals Yearly
Riese Pio X, Italy – October 16, 2025 – SteelcoBelimed, a global leader in infection control solutions for hospitals, today celebrated the grand opening of its cutting-edge Academy in Riese Pio X, Italy. The facility represents a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to advancing industry standards and delivering exceptional customer support in Central Sterile Supply Departments (CSSDs).
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by the SteelcoBelimed leadership, the Mayor of Riese Pio X, Ombretta Basso, and over 400 SteelcoBelimed employees, marked the official launch of this world-class training center dedicated to empowering the global SteelcoBelimed sales and service organization as well as customers with specialized knowledge of CSSD solutions.
Increasing customer benefits in healthcare
“Last year, we created the SteelcoBelimed joint venture with the ambition to be the most customer-centric, the most innovative and the most reliable solution partner in our industry,” said Christian Kluge, CEO of SteelcoBelimed. “Today, we have reached an important milestone: The new SteelcoBelimed Academy is our central knowledge hub. It connects customers, operators, sales, service and engineering teams.”
The Academy features highly functional training rooms equipped with fully operational sterile supply solutions – washer/disinfectors, sterilizers and endoscopy reprocessing equipment as well as components for logistics and automation. The facility also includes large meeting rooms and a spacious 230-square-meter auditorium. This configuration enables not only simultaneous training sessions with capacity for well over 1,000 in-depth training sessions per year, but also larger conferences as well as digital and virtual sessions.

The Academy, which serves SteelcoBelimed’s Infection Control, Laboratory and Biomedical Research divisions, has already begun hosting its first training sessions.
